Freedom of movement

The principal of freedom of movement is a big part of the EU, because it allows many opportunities regarding job employment and living circumstances. European citizens are allowed to look for a job in another EU country and move freely around the countries. The goal of this act is to give the people the same rights by eliminating any discrimination on the basis of nationality. This gives the citizens of the EU bigger opportunities to achieve their goals and ambitions by expanding their possibilities of employment outside of their own country.

Greenpeace

As you can see on the poster the fundamentals of Greenpeace are to protect biodiversity in all its forms, prevent pollution and abuse of the earth’s ocean, land, air and fresh water, end all nuclear threats and to promote peace, global disarmament and non-violence. All these fundamentals are crucial, because protecting our planet for the future generations should be our number one priority. We all know about all the environmental issues of our time such as pollution of the air, water and nature in general, but not all of us work toward bettering the situation. If we want a better future for our children we must act now. Greenpeace is here to guide us towards a cleaner and healthier future.

There is no Planet B. We need to save planet Earth because there is no alternative. If we forget about our “little” Earth, we will all soon be gone and nothing will matter anymore – important issues like racism, nationalism, hate speech, inequality; even our own problems, Covid-19 or the mediocre worry if we gained a little bit of weight. We need to save our green planet if we want to survive.

THE EU SYMBOLS

In the EU we have a few things we are known for. The flag used is the Flag of Europe, which consists of a circle of twelve golden stars on a blue background. The euro is the official currency of 19 of the 27 member states of the European Union. The motto of the EU is United in diversity. We have the anthem, known as Anthem of Europe, which is based on Beethoven’s Ode of Joy, we also celebrate Europe Day on the 9th of May.
