Topics
With their journalistic contributions, they touch on various topics, including migration and refugees, discrimination, gender inequality, covid-19, environmental issues, and so-called Green Deal.
Through their youth-focused reporting, young people promote understanding and interest in the EU in their peer groups, and through their contributions they reach a wide and above all young public in their home towns, regions and, thanks to digital media, beyond national borders. In this way, they can encourage a dialogue between young people and decision-makers in their local communities and wider across Europe.
With the project, the participating partners want to contribute to the realization of the European goal of the EU “Connecting the EU with youth”. In addition, we want to support young people in their personal development, train them for openness and acceptance, and broaden their view of the European public, which will also strengthen European awareness.
The project’s leading partner is Društvo za razvijanje prostovoljnega dela Novom mesto, and the project is carried out in cooperation with FAJUB – Federação das Associações Juvenis do Distrito de Braga, Europäische Akademie Berlin and Ekonomska šola, Višja strokovna šola Novo mesto.
